Activity Description

Everyone but everyone has to try shark cage diving with Great Whites!

As the creators of Australia’s first advanced eco-certified shark cage diving experience, Adventure Bay Charters offer visitors the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to view the legendary Shark in its natural habitat. Listen to your favourite music and “Rock Out” with the Great White Sharks! This full day tour takes you from Port Lincoln Marina to Neptune Island, lying c.70km South.

During the boat ride, you will see some beautiful scenery and possibly encounter some dolphins and sea birds. Arriving at Neptune islands, we use audio vibrations to attract the Great Whites rather than bait, which is better for protecting their natural behaviour and is quite funny too, since we get some great response using hard rock songs! If you wish to do so, you can then upgrade to underwater access ($ 125, payable on board). In this case, you will enter an immerged steel cage and, equiped with a full wetsuit and scuba equipement, you will immerge and get in close with the Sharks for an unforgettable encounter, in total safety.

The trip in and out will take one full day and include lunch, tea and coffee.

On top of the above, Adventure Bay Charters are also proud to introduce to you the world’s first Shark “Aqua Sub”.
A revolutionary new way to view Great White Sharks in their natural habitat. The Aqua Sub is an open-air immerged box with 360 degrees glass windows. View the Sharks while staying completely dry! You can even enjoy a glass of wine or your lunch whilst winking at a huge specimen. Getting down in the Aqua Sub trip is included in the underwater fee, and you can get down multiples times during the cruise!

    Offer Description

Your day on board Shark Warrior
A full day tour takes you from Port Lincoln marina to ‘shark bay’ at Neptune Island, approximately 70 kms south of Port Lincoln, South Australia. On the way you’ll see spectacular scenery as you cruise through the Thorny Passage and expect sightings of inquisitive local dolphins and sea birds.

To ensure Adventure Bay Charters are protecting the natural environment, they use audio sound vibrations to attract the sharks to the boat rather than berley. The benefits of using sound vibration is that it is omni-directional (that is, it travels in all directions underwater), it’s instantaneous and completely eco-friendly – and funnily enough, the great white shark’s favourite choice of music is the rock tunes from AC/DC. Lately they have also taken a liking to The Hilltop Hoods!

The price varies depending on the dates you're booking:
