Activity description
Come and try a rafting excursion down the Nive river near Bidarray with your friends or family with white water expert instructors.
Come and try rafting with your friends or family, supervised by experienced and dynamic instructors.
You will cross the gorge of the Nive valley, a wild river with rapids and calm water. The Nive river is classified class II (3). The descent will lead you to Bidarray, a charming and typical Basque village.
Programme (approx. 2.5 to 3 hours according to the water level):
- Meeting in the center of Ur Ederra, located at the arrival of the rafting descent.
- You can park your car in the parking lot and leave your personal belongings in the school.
- You are equipped with an integral neoprene suit, a jacket and a helmet.
- A shuttle bus takes you to the beginning of the descent with your group.
- Your instructor gives you an explanation about the navigation techniques and the safety instructions.
- You raft down the Nive river over 7 km, interspersed with rock jumping and various animations, until the center, located 40 meters from the river.
- The rafting center is equipped with a photo place, men and women cloakrooms, as well as hot showers.
The rafting excursion will take 2.5 to 3 hours depending on the river's water level.
Activity requirements
All participants must be able to swim.
