Have you ever wanted to access crazy diving spots around the world? Get your scuba diving Level 1, you can not imagine a better place than the Moorea lagoon to do so!
Level 1 courses allow you to dive anywhere in the world between 20 and 29 meters depending on the country. Just imagine the possibilities that will open to you!
The diving spots around Moorea are the perfect place to introduce you to scuba diving and pass your first level safely with instructors who will make everything in their power to make you feel at ease.
The amazing resident population of lemon sharks, but also hawksbill turtles, green turtles, napoleon fish,..., and between July and October, humpback whales that settle near the reef for 4 months! Obviously, you won't usually meet the cetaceans underwater but you can see them during navigation times and the songs of males will accompany you during your dives : a unique moment !
Courses program
You get an express formation of 3 half days organized as follows:
- 1 afternoon 12.30 pm - 3.30 pm: 2 technical dives beachfront departure + theory
- 1 afternoon 12.30 pm - 2.30 pm: 1 adptation dive in the lagoon depth 6-12 meters
- 1 morning 7.30 am - 11.30 am: 2 validation ocean dives (18-25 meters)

1st half-day: Meeting at 12.30 pm at the diving center where you learn how to use the diving equipment and get briefed on the first exercises to perform in confined areas.
Departure from the beach, you will never get more than 2 meters deep for the first exercises.
After the first dive, a snack is served during the theory lessons, and then you go for your second dive a little deeper.
2nd half-day: Meeting at 12.30 pm for a lagoon dive, practice technical exercises acquired on the first day, in water between 6 and 12 meters.
3rd half-day: Meeting at 7.30 am at the center, equipment and weather briefing on the boat.
Arrival on site for the first immersion, diving about 40 minutes.
Snack break in the Bay d'Ōpūnohu then departure for the second immersion.
Return to center around 11.30 am.
The certifications will be validated after these 2 dives (the instructor might add technical dives if necessary).
Obtain your level 1 scuba diving certification and access depths down to 29m depending on the countries.
Activity requirements
All participants must have a medical note from their GP dated less than 3 months (in case of particular health conditions such as diabetes, please advise your instructor beforehand).
Special terms
Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
