Escuela Marejada

The surf school of Marejada is aimed at all those who want to learn how to surf in the fastest, easiest and funnest manner. Those of you who already have an insight into surfing can make the most of the waves whilst improving your techniques.

You have the option of many courses and lessons, depending on what you're looking for. The school proposes: daily surf lessons, surf courses and private lessons for all levels and ages.

The surf school teaches classes in the east of Asturias, specifically on the beaches of La Espasa, the Arenal de Moris and Vega. Currently the core activities are performed on the beach of the Espasa, which has optimal conditions for people learning or improving their surfing skills.

The surf school was created and is managed by Ricardo Fernández Palomeque, a surfer with great experience and recognition in teaching and surfing competitions. He was proclaimed the Spanish Surfing Champion 5 times, and runner-up twice. He won the Silver Medal twice and the Bronze Medal twice in the European Championship. Add all that to 14 years of teaching surf and you have a surfing expert, who better to learn from?!

The school's philosophy is to work towards students coming back over and over again: this would mean they have done their job well and that students had fun whilst learning.
