Initially a private domain, the Haras du Morne opened its doors to the general public in 2008 to offer horseback riding between the sea and the mountains, at the foot of the Morne Brabant and along one of the largest lagoons in Mauritius. Under the direction of Sultana Gallion, who has been passionate about horseback riding for the past twenty years, the stud farm welcomes former racehorses to offer them a new life, in the calm of Le Morne.

The horses, which are trained and monitored by experienced professionals, benefit not only from the 2,000 m² of the stud's grounds where they are housed in large airy stalls, but also from the beach of Le Morne and its lagoon where they will take you for a ride. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider, you will ride safely with instructors who share the same passion for horses!
