What to do in Cornwall

Found in the westernmost part of southwest England, Cornwall is not only a haven for water sports enthusiasts, but is also a much coveted holiday destination for visitors from around the world.

The county’s unique culture, lush vegetation and mild climate attract thousands of holidaymakers every year. This specific area of England is lucky enough to be exposed to the mildest and sunniest climate in the United Kingdom, mainly because of the influence of the Gulf Stream.

Due to its geographical location and exposition to the English Channel and Celtic Sea, Cornwall has many miles of beaches and cliffs; the South West Coast Path follows a complete circuit of both coasts.

Boasting over 5 million tourists every year, Cornwall is renowned for its maritime sports notably sailing and surfing. Locations such as Porthtowan, Bude and Newquay offer some of the best surf in the whole of the UK.
