Stagnone is one of the biggest flat water lagoons in Europe. It is situated few kilometres from the city of Marsala in the South West of Sicily and it is easily reachable from anywhere due the airport in Trapani or Palermo.
Stagnone is a paradise for kitesurfing and windsurfing: with flat shallow waters and almost 300 days of wind in a year! The wind blows from two opposite directions: from North, which is regular and constant and from South, a bit more irregular.
The water is completely flat due the group of islands that separate the lagoon from the sea. The Islands are called Lunga Island, Santa Maria Island and San Pantaleo Island. Additionally, the shallow waters are between 30cm and 2 meters deep! Here you will find the perfect infrastructures to set up the gear and to relax after the sport practice.
