A course designed for those with a head for heights, leaving your inhibitions at the entrance to this gorge is almost essential because, once you start, there's no turning back! Work as a team to navigate this vertiginous canyon system in the heart of the Austrian Alps - learning how to rappel, ride - and go with the flow! An impressive limestone gorge where the only way is down - trust your instincts as you abseil 12m into the whitewater below!
Hachle Gorge is a more adventurous continuation of Rosengarten Gorge in Hoch Imst. Deeper and narrower, it passes a series of waterfalls up to 12m in height with small slides and jumps. This canyoning tour offers beautiful abseiling passages in an impressive limestone gorge Close to the Inn, Schinderbach and Malchbach rivers, in winter Imst is known for its family-friendly ski resort Hoch-Imst. Innsbruck is only 40-minutes away by car or mainline train and is served by an international airport.
Meet your instructor at the activity centre in Tarrenz for a 3.5-hour canyoning excursion in Hachle Gorge. An adventurous course suited to beginners 12 years and older, this deep limestone canyon is only a 10- minute walk from Imst town centre. A perfect experience for the curious, learn how to abseil into clear pools before the ravine starts to get tighter and you will jump and slide down the narrow path that leads out into a huge gorge with a 12m abseil that you will have to rappel to reach the bottom! The end of the tour is right in town and will take you right back to the city centre where you will be transported back to the activity centre - enjoying a warm shower and snacks once you're done.
An accessible yet daunting gorge, the total duration in the canyon is two hours and is accessed by foot (10 minutes) from Imst town centre. All jumps, abseils and slides are mandatory, including:
→ You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price
2) Cancellation between 4 and 10 days prior to the agreed activity starting date
→ You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement
3) 4 days or later, prior to the agreed activity starting date, is considered last-minute cancellations
→ No reimbursements will be effected
