Whether your new to rafting or a seasoned expert this tour is for everyone looking for a serious adventure or an extra dose of adrenalin. The perfect opportunity to take your skills to the next level and learn to master advanced currents and rapids under the tutelage of an expert guide.
Before you embark on your first raft you will receive a safety briefing from your professional guide and be provided with all the necessary equipment. You will receive a helmet, wetsuit, neopreneboots and a lifevest.
Once briefed and equipped you will embark on your first raft a training taking on an advanced raft in the Imster Schlucht. While it may be the easiest of the three tours it's class III rapids are not to be underestimated and are a mere taste of what is to come.
Following the training portion, it's straight on to one of the highlights. The extreme tour on the Sanna is infamous in the rafting community and rapids like “Schiefes Eck” and “Pianser Schwall” are equally as challenging as they are fun. After a short, yet striking 45 minutes, you will reach Landek where you are released from the river. This marks the end of the first day.
The second day will see you tackling the most challenging section yet, the Ötztaler Ache. This river not only holds the coldest water of them all but also some of the most challenging. With rapids raging between class IV-V. Legendary rapids like the Waldschlucht and Constructa. Are sure to produce a sweat despite the freezing temperatures.
Some of the spots during this tour rely strongly on the weather and river conditions Exact routes may be subject to change contingent on current weather and river conditions. The best conditions can usually be found between Mid-June and Mid-July.
