Meet your expert instructor at the activity base, nestled on the banks of the Salzach River, to embark on this white-knuckle whitewater rafting experience. Tailored to suit various group sizes and skill levels, you can opt for a family-friendly journey (easy) along the grade II section or dare to conquer the popular grade III (intermediate) route for a more exhilarating escapade! Following a brief yet essential safety orientation and equipment check, paddle your way downstream under the guidance of your lead instructor. Learn the art of balance and obstacle avoidance as you navigate the river's changing terrain. As the adventure unfolds, the river's intensity will increase, featuring spirited currents, elevated rollers, slides, and crushers. Working in unison, your group will maneuver through high-intensity whitewater segments while adeptly avoiding obstructions, all while paddling in harmony to stay afloat. Upon conquering your chosen Salzach stretch, a return to the activity base will mark the conclusion of your memorable journey.
River Insight: The Salzach River is graded as II-III, influenced by seasonal heavy rainfall and glacial meltwater. Most rafts accommodate up to 8 participants alongside a knowledgeable guide. Certain rafts can accommodate 9-10 occupants.
