Activity description
Come to explore the west side of São Miguel Island with an exciting hiking trip to Sete Cidades Lake. The private tour is for a maximum of 5 participants.
Sete Cidades lake is one of the most famous and legendary lakes of the island. Futurismo's activity center is located next to the lake shore.
The starting point of this walk is the amazing Vista do Rei belvedere, where you will learn about the geological formation of the caldera of Sete Cidades. Next, you will start walking the dirt path along the rim of the crater. The views are wide and open – to the right, you will see the caldera and the twin lakes; to the left, you will find the sea and several coastal villages. The trail ends in the center of the village.
This is an easy but spectacular trip where for three hours and a half you will have the chance to enjoy a stunning landscape that will make your holidays totally unforgettable.
