This activity is run & operated from Gitgit in northern Bali – travelling to Tukad Lampah gorge. Part of the Gitgit waterfall system, it is considered one of the easiest nature trails with small height rappells, jumps, slides, swimming sections and access to the Panjang Flying Fox (zipline).
Meet your guide at the activity base in Gitgit for this short but sweet canyoning excursion to Tukad Lampah. An ideal introduction to the technical skills and thrilling chills of canyoning, find your footing as you jump, abseil, swim & scramble in the remote gorges of Gitgit. Traversing a highland stream from the dense jungle to the lower valley, this 2-hour excursion starts with a short safety briefing and kit breakdown – following the sound of the whitewater to the top of the gorge. Over the next 1h 30 minutes, you’ll get to explore this unique environment at a casual pace – tackling sloping waterfalls, fun toboggans and some small jumps. The finale is a 35m zip line across the most treacherous part of the gorge – flying over the raging river to safely reach the other side. On arrival back at the activity base, you will have full use of the showers and Balinese buffet lunch – hopping on the complimentary shuttle to take you back to your accommodation.
Tukad Lampah has 1 abseil (6m), 2 optional jumps (6m), 2 natural toboggans (6m) a 35m zipline (Panjang Flying Fox) and up to 20m of swimming against fast flowing water. The total canyon descent takes 1.5 hours and is suitable for families.
Each participant is required to provide AGE, HEIGHT (cm), WEIGHT (kg) and SHOE SIZE at the time of Booking
