Come and paddle down the Trebizat river, the only underground river in Europe! Surrounded by lush wilderness, you’ll have a unique adventure canoeing down the river’s pristine, warm waters as you come across stunning waterfalls.
Located between Mostar and the Adriatic coast, the beautiful Trebizat river disappears into the ground and remerges 9 different times—making it the only underground river on the entire continent! It’s also a tributary of the Neretva, one of the largest rivers of the Adriatic basin.
With your experienced guide, you’ll embark on a 13-kilometer canoe tour that starts off slow before the river changes into a dynamic flow towards the estuary. Paddling through picturesque landscapes that are rich in flora and fauna, you’ll make your way towards the imposing Kocusa Waterfall that’s over 50 meters wide and 5 meters high! This staggering waterfall is one of the most gorgeous sights in Bosnia & Herzegovina and is considered a hidden gem from locals and foreign tourists alike.
