Feel the adrenaline in the Canary Islands with a sensational skydiving experience over the Maspalomas dune on the island of Gran Canaria and land on the sand.
Between beaches, palm trees and lagoons, the Maspalomas dunes are a must if you are in Gran Canaria. And if you like thrills, tandem skydiving with iJump Gran Canaria is the activity for you! Departing from Maspalomas airfield, you will first experience a breathtaking 40 second freefall at over 200 km/h over the dunes. This is followed by a parachute flight over Playa del Inglés for about 8 minutes, until you land safely in the heart of the Maspalomas dunes.
During the freefall and parachute flight, you will have the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean, the island of Gran Canaria and the other Canary Islands, as well as the mountains, the beaches and especially the dunes of Maspalomas. Your family and friends will also be able to record your arrival at the Maspalomas dune, a nice souvenir of your skydiving experience!

- Meeting with the instructors.
- Briefing of the activity.
- Preparation with harness, goggles and helmet.
- Start of the plane flight.
- Once the pilot reaches an altitude of approximately 300 metres, you and your tandem instructor will jump out of the plane and freefall for 30 to 40 seconds over the famous Maspalomas Dunes at over 200 km/h.
- The freefall is followed by a relaxing parachute flight, soaring through the sky for 5-8 minutes.
- Landing at the Maspalomas Dunes.
Activity requirements
The maximum weight for this activity is 105kg. Persons weighing between 90kg and 105kg must pay an additional charge of 50 euros.
Written parental authorisation is required for minors to participate in this activity without an accompanying adult.
Photos and videos of the activity can be purchased for an additional fee. This will be communicated to the instructor on the day of the activity and will be paid at the same time.
