With paragliding you just can't go wrong when expecting amazing adrenaline rushes. Flying from Teide National Park to Puertito de Güimar in the eastern coast of Tenerife is an amazing experience!
This flight will take of from Izaña at 2200 meters in Pico del Teide, right in Teide National Park. The landing will be at sea level at the coast of Puertito de Guimar on eastern Tenerife.
This flight has as a highlights the outstanding volcanic landscape of the summit of Gumar Valley, particularly Cho Marcial Peak and the contrast that the dark lands of Arafo Volcano's crater make with the green woods surrounding it. The Guimar Volcano and the extension of volcanic lands all the way to the coast put the icing on the cake.
Tenerife is the biggest of the Canarian Islands with 2,034 square kilometers of extension and 342 kilometers of coast. Thanks to its mountainous geography, you can find Pico del Teide standing at 3,718 meters, Spain's highest mountain. That same geographic characteristics allow the island to be one of the best paragliding spots in Europe. Having the biggest difference in level in Europe, its volcanic landscapes and warm weather, Tenerife is a top destination for everyone wishing to take part in a paragliding flight.
The flight will last approximately 30-35 minutes and the altitude will be approximately 2200 metres.
Activity requirements
Passenger must weight between 35 and 120 kgs.
Special terms
There is no specific minimum age, though the passenger must not weight less than 35 kg.
Minors must have authorization from their parents and must be accompanied by an adult.
The specified flight duration is with optimal weather conditions, when they are great the flight can be extended with no additional cost.
