Desafio Aventura invites you to experience one of the most amazing canyoning expeditions you can take part off in Costa Rica. According to them, every year they receive lots of requests from visitors who want to experience the real Costa Rica, and the answer to that request is usually taking part of a day of canyoning at Cañon Perdido, the Lost Canyon.
Canyoning the Perdido Canyon is about rappelling down huge waterfalls, jumping into pools, downclimb the canyon's walls and boulders, and hike up through the rainforest! Everything you are looking for in a day out in nature you'll find it during the best canyoning experience in Costa Rica!
The activity will begin after being picked up at your accommodation in the La Fortuna or Arenal Volcano area. Then, you'll have a 15 min. ride to the Lost Canyon's visitor center where you'll be briefed. Then you'll get geared up: wetsuit, harness, and helmet.
You'll then start your expedition, the first challenge will be a 10-ft waterfall that allows you to ease your way into learning the ropes. Continuing further you'll come across a bigger waterfall dubbed Big Boy that will challenge you even further. A sequence of abseils, jumps, and climbs complement the experience that will be topped off with a home-cooked meal at the end!
The participants must weigh less than 100 kg.
All participants must be able to swim.
Minors must have authorization from their parents.
