If you've always been curious about scuba diving but you're not sure if it's really for you, then the best thing you can do is try a PADI Discover Scuba Dive. During this half-day session, you'll have an overview of what scuba diving is about: you'll go through the process of gearing up and you'll learn how to breathe underwater with the help of a mask.
During this session, you will start with a dive in a pool where you'll be taught how to dive safely and comfortably in the ocean. Once you've gone through the theory and pool dive, you'll jump into a boat that will take you to the spot where real divers go! You'll head on to the Catalina Islands, internationally known among the scuba diving community as having some of the best diving spots in Costa Rica. There you'll have two dives in which you'll practice your new skills. Keep your eyes open, the Catalinas are home to many sea creatures like manta rays.
All participants must be able to swim. Minors must have authorization from their parents.
Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
