Location
This tour is run and operated from Vrilo Beach in Supetar and travels to Postira on an 8km - crossing Splitska. For those not staying on the island, Brač can be reached by ferry from Split (50 min transfer time).
Activity
Meet your guide in Supetar for this guided sea kayaking excursion in Brač. Set to a casual pace, this paddle classic is suitable for all ages and abilities - offering guests a chance to explore some of the area's lesser-known beaches and snorkeling spots. Starting with a short safety briefing and kit breakdown, your guide will teach you a few of the basic strokes you'll need to travel the 8km along the coastline. Setting off from Vrilo beach, you'll cruise north along the shore - passing pine woods, olive groves, old handmade drywalls, beaches and rocky coastline. Stopping at a scenic beach, there will be time to snorkel in the pristine coral gardens just off-shore or just soak up the atmosphere from the beach. Next stop is the ancient village of Splitska - a chance to view some of the island's iconic architecture that dates back to 1577 AD. Following the contours of the landscape, reach Prja Bay - a popular beach and swimming spot, before reaching Porat beach in Postira where your adventure will end. Return transport to Supetar is included.
Conditions
This tour operates during the summer season from May - October and uses single seater and double seater sit on top ocean kayaks.
