Half-Day Buggy Safari to Akamas Peninsula with Lunch from Paphos

This exciting and fun-packed experience truly is the best way to see the Akamas Peninsula, one of the most stunningly beautiful locations in the Mediterranean Sea. The area is known for its culture and biodiversity thanks to a healthy and vibrant mix of animal species from fruit bats and vultures to monk seals and sea turtles!

The fun starts after meeting your experienced guide, who will provide a safety briefing and check whilst you are fitted in protective gear, including a helmet and goggles. Once the group is ready, you’ll set off through the rural roads and tracks for your adventure! 

You'll drive through Paphos Harbour and the 15 km (9 miles) coastal road to Coral Bay. We will have our first stop at the stunning sea caves where you will spot the famous shipwreck EDRO III, located between rocks, very close to the shore, making it an ideal photo-shooting spot. 

Continuing onto the Akamas Peninsula with its low-height floras, where spectacular views await, you'll head onto an adventurous off-road drive towards Lara Bay, which is well-known as a spot where sea turtles lay their eggs.

Lara Bay is your final stop, where you will have enough time to swim, and sunbathe under the sun. You'll also enjoy a delicious lunch in a traditional tavern accompanied by refreshments to recharge!
