Since 2001 the experienced tour guides of Golden Ride Rentals have been exploring the beautiful surroundings of Paphos with their customers. The guides know the area like the back of their hands, so get ready for an unforgettable off-track tour creating memories that will last for a lifetime! With the goal to avoid asphalt as much as possible, the 4.5-hour safari is the perfect choice for families, groups of friends or beginners who want to try out riding buggies or quad bikes discovering places only accessible via off-roads.
The safari tour starts at 10 AM. Please arrive 20 minutes before to be able to familiarize yourself with the quad/buggy and bet here for the safety check. The guides will go through with you all you need to know before starting to drive.
The tour starts off at the famous Coral beach of Pegeia situated at the steep slopes of the coastal hills at Coral Bay. After this, the tour carries on to the extraordinary shipwrecks and sea caves for you to discover.
The Sierra Leone-flagged ENDRO III shipwrecked in 2011 the 8th of September on a trip to Rhodes with a cargo of plasterboard. The well-experienced guide will also explain the fascinating history behind this ship during the tour.
The sea Caves that you will discover with its spectacular rock formations have taken over a thousand years to form. It is a truly incredible experience to see them, that no one should miss!
Then you will explore and swim at the amazing Lara beach, famous for turtle nesting. Here you will also stop for refreshments at a small café between the sea and the mountains.
Last but not least, you will explore with the guides the scenic Adonis Bath. The tradition says that the God of Beauty Adonis tended his horses in this area when hunting in the Akamas forest. During this last stop, you will also be able to swim while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
