Quad or Buggy Safari from Coral Bay to Akamas Forest and Latchi Harbour

Activity description

This safari tour begins at 10 am, and we highly advise that you arrive 30 minutes in advance, for a quick briefing and safety check.

We will then venture into the beautiful coast, starting off at the famous Coral beach of Pegeia, and going towards the extraordinary shipwreck and sea caves with their spectacular rock formations. The Sierra Leone-flagged EDRO III shipwrecked in 2011 on the 8th of September on a trip to Rhodes with a cargo of plasterboard. 

Our next stop is St George's Harbor with archeological findings, catacombs, and a scenic marina offering a spectacular view. Continuing onto Akamas Reserve, we will explore the turtle nesting grounds, where you can enjoy a swim at Lara Turtle Conservation Station. 

Continuing onwards, we will visit Akamas Forest, known for its pine trees and olive trees, where a magnificent viewpoint awaits. On our way to our final destination, we will drive through the Smigies nature trail, a little gem at Akamas Peninsula.

We will then reach Latchi Harbor in Polis where we will enjoy a delicious meal along with refreshments. You will have enough time to take a stroll around the marina with its little shops, and scenic views before heading back to the base. 

Drivers must hold a valid driving license (category B).

The minimum driver's age is 18y/o, the minimum passenger's age is 12 y/o, and no age limitation for buggies. 

- Kindly note that the tour includes an off-road ride and a bandana/protective mask is necessary. You can also bring change clothes if you wish, as sand is expected to cover your driving clothes!
