The Damajagua Falls are the most impressive place in the Cordillera Septentrional. During this aquatic hike, you'll be able to go deep into the gorge and explore it!
Exploring canyon, creeks, and gorges is amazing! As opposed to canyoning in which you'll be required to abseil and use mountain equipment such as cords and harnesses, during an aquatic hike you'll explore the gorge by foot, you'll jump into the clear waters, swim, and let the current carry you. In general, the experience is pretty much the same, just a bit laid back!
The Damajagua Falls are located in the Cordillera Septentrional, a mountain range located in the Dominican Republic and that crossed the country parallel to its coast. There you'll come across breathtaking landscapes like you've never experienced before while you make your way across 12 different waterfalls that will require you to shimmy on the rocks, swim and jump!
This excursion is not only an outdoor adventure, you'll be able to learn a bit about the local culture and its legends, its unpredictable falls, such as La Virgen and La Tinajita hold many Taino legends.
After your adventure has finished, you'll enjoy a buffet-lunch with local products, you'll also be able to spend some time in the town of Imbert sightseeing before heading back to your hotel.

- Then, you'll get ready to glide across natural water springs, bathing in the depths of heavenly-pared caves. You'll examine an extensive tunnel labyrinth, mired amid caves and chutes overflowing in the middle of invigorating waterfalls reaching 13 feet in height; a large canyon is at a standstill in the background.
- At some point, you'll have to jump into the water, as experienced tourist guide keep a watchful eye on you. Making our way through the twelfth pond, you'll come upon an interpretative trail where one comes face to face with a lavish natural habitat.
- At a prolific tropical forest, an embracing wildlife awaits you as you continue to make your way swimming and sliding down natural water slides.
All participants must be able to swim. Minors must have authorization from their parents.
