Ideally located at the gates of Grenoble, in Sassenage, the Furon canyon is ideal to discover canyoning in the Vercors. It is also a canyon not to be missed, perfect for canyoning in Isère. Very playful with many slides, a zip line and non compulsory jumps up to 10 meters, the Furon canyon is a course adapted to beginners along a green gorge which abounds in secret passages. Compared to the lower part of the canyon, the upper part is a bit longer and has more obstacles. The water of the Furon is not very warm, but during warm days, you will appreciate its freshness!
The Furon canyon is located in the Vercors massif, on the side of the Chartreuse massif. It is a canyon which benefits from its proximity to Grenoble and is therefore more easily accessible than most canyons. Indeed, the canyon is only 30 minutes away from the city centre. The canyoning activity in Sassenage is therefore perfect to keep you busy during a half-day in Grenoble.
