Come and discover canyoning in a friendly atmosphere in the heart of the Ossau Valley by descending the Canceigt canyon in Béost!
The Canceigt canyon offers an ideal canyoning course for beginners, fun and full of obstacles specific to the discipline: avoidable jumps up to 5 meters high, slides along natural slides with clear water and abseiling down waterfalls of up to 13 meters. With friends or family, the Canceigt canyon in Béost will allow you to spend a superb and refreshing half-day at only 1 hour from Pau!
In Laruns, you will meet the instructor who will guide you down the Canceigt canyon in the Ossau Valley, a green valley where the canyons are exceptional. It is in the heart of a gorge with granite rocks and surrounded by fir and beech trees that you will discover the joys of canyoning in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques!

Course of events
- Meeting with the instructor at the EXPERIENCE Canyon base
- Briefing on equipment and safety
- Departure to the canyon with your own car (approx. 10 minutes drive)
- Gear up before starting the approach walk of about 5 minutes
- 2.5 hours canyon descent
- Return walk of 15 minutes, then de-equipping and end of the activity
Activity requirements
Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.
