Activity description
Set off on an unforgettable snowshoeing adventure in the heart of the Pyrenees! There's so much to discover in the Pays Toy! This is an activity that's accessible even to beginners!
The Pays Toy includes part of Haute-Bigorre and some of the most beautiful sites in the region: the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, the Néouvielle massif, Ardiden and the great glacial cirques, particularly the Cirque de Gavarnie. The highest peaks, which can reach altitudes of over 3,000 metres, dominate this region, which boasts a host of magnificent sites perfectly suited to snowshoe trekking.
This snowshoeing hike is an opportunity to discover the superb peaks and sublime valleys. The snow-covered valleys of the Pyrenees offer ideal powder snow for you to leave your footprints in!
This excursion is a real adventure in a white paradise, where the fir trees are covered in a blanket of white and the animals live freely, so you'll be able to spot their tracks easily.
Get ready to be amazed by the beauty of the scenery and the sensations experienced as you ascend on snowshoes during these Nordic walks to the summits. A certified mountain guide will take you on a discovery tour of the Pyrenean massifs.
Beginners are welcome on this incredible adventure, off the beaten track!

This activity only takes place on Wednesdays from 9am to 3pm.
Program
Meeting at the premises at 9am followed by a carpool ride up to the starting point of the hike (8 free seats on the minivan).
The path includes a scenic route and fun descents. There will be breaks on the way.
The activity ends at 3pm.
Pets are strictly forbidden in the National Park.
