Activity description

Travel in the tracks of modern mountaineering forefathers on this 6-day ski touring expedition across the iconic Haute Route - with alpine expert and UIAGM guide, Filippo Livorno.

First completed in 1911, The Haute Route is the most famous and arduous winter ski touring route in the world. A 6-day excursion from the popular ski resort of Chamonix to Zermatt, backcountry enthusiasts can experience some of Europe's most iconic peaks from Mont Blanc to the Matterhorn.

A border crossing like no other, pushing your limits in this exhilarating white landscape follows the mountain pass that connects France to its Swiss cousin. Traversing diverse landscapes from peaks to plains, glaciers, and cliffs, each day is a new adventure - sheltering in traditional mountain cabins for some well-earned local cuisine and respite before the sun sets over the roof of Europe.

Suited to experienced skiers with previous cross-country experience, this ski touring adventure will test your ability and endurance - putting your practical and mental agility to the test...
