Via Ferrata of Evettes - La Flégère, Chamonix

Between alpine hiking and rock climbing, the via ferrata of Evettes offers an exceptional panorama of the Mont Blanc massif!

The via ferrata of Evettes is located in the Brévent-Flégère ski area near the Flégère cable car. It allows inexperienced people to climb high mountains with maximum safety and get introduced to the verticality and pleasures of climbing.

During 3 to 4 hours, you will progress with your mountain guide Martin Narcy.

Programme:
You start your day at 9 am at the cable car of La Flégère where your instructor awaits you. From the top of the ski lift, you climb to the start of the via ferrata for about twenty minutes. This is where the adventure begins!

The via ferrata is divided into 2 parts:
- Part 1: Evettes Via Ferrata (1h30)
You first follow a cable through several sections and cross a monkey bridge until you reach the 2nd monkey bridge which is much longer (2 exits are possible). After the bridge, the return path to the Flegère cable car station takes 20 minutes. Otherwise, you continue the activity with the Via Corda.

- Part 2: Via Corda (2h30 to 3h)
You take a way out of the Via Ferrata until the beginning of the Via Corda. There is a 10 to 15 m abseil after about one-third of the lane and another of 35 meters at the end. It is possible to cross the second abseil with a 50-meter rope or split it in half.

Your instructor will adapt to your level and you will have the choice to do or not the Via Corda.
