Activity description

Alone in your own boat, cross the class 2 and 3 rapids of the Gave de Pau in a kayak raft, also known as an Air boat!

A 1-seater inflatable kayak, the Air Boat has been specially designed for white-water rafting. So if you are in good physical condition and you are not afraid of class 2 and 3 rapids on your own, this kayak rafting trip down the Gave de Pau is the activity for you! An instructor will, of course, be with you throughout the experience, in his or her own boat, to guide you and ensure your safety along the way.

You will set off for around 2 hours of Airboating on the Gave de Pau, between Argelès-Gazost and Cauterets. Equipped with a paddle and all the thermal equipment you need for your comfort and safety, you will enjoy not only the adrenaline rush of going through the river's rapids, but also the magnificent scenery in the heart of the Vallée des Gaves in the Hautes-Pyrénées! It is a corner of sublime nature within easy reach, less than an hour's drive from Tarbes and Pau.

With the option of combining this experience with another white-water activity by choosing the full-day option, this kayak rafting trip down the Gave de Pau will leave you with some wonderful memories!
