Hydrospeed, also known as "white water swimming", is an exciting activity that allows you to challenge the rapids of the Gave de Pau using a floating board. By lying down on the board and using your flippers to navigate, you'll enjoy an experience similar to that of kayakers and rafters, but in a more intimate way and in direct contact with the water! They will also give you detailed safety instructions and teach you the techniques needed to navigate the rapids safely. - Introduction to the instructor and tour of the centre.
- Equipment fitting.
- Shuttle bus journey to the launch area.
- Briefing by your instructor on equipment and safety rules.
- Learn how to stop and start again.
- White water descent for 2 hours and discovery of river surfing.
- Return journey by shuttle bus to the base.
- Shower in the changing rooms at the base, snack and photo distribution.
Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.
You must be in good physical condition to take part in this activity.
A written parental authorisation is required for minors to take part in this activity.
