Whether you are experienced or beginners, looking for sporty rafting or simply travelling quietly, 3 different routes are available depending on your level and preferences to paddle down the Tarn river:

"Discovery" route: 1,5 to 2 hours excursion over 7km from Rozier to Peyrelade; level: beginner
"Emotion" route: 2,5 to 3 hours excursion over 11km from Vignes to Rozier; level: beginner to intermediate
"Adventure" route: 4 to 5 hours excursion over 18km from Vignes to Peyrelade; level: intermediate

The departure of the route from Rozier to Peyrelade takes place in Aigue Vive Canoe rentals base. You paddle down the Tarn river at your own pace and glimpse Liaucous and Mostuéjouls villages on your right. A bit below you can see the castle of Peyrelade. At your arrival, a vehicle awaits you to return to the base.

11km Les Vignes - Le Rozier

A descent of 11km (2,5 to 3 hours) from Vignes to Rozier

Meeting at the base of Aigue Vive 15 minutes before the departure with the vehicle. You arrive at the Vignes lake where the route starts with a slide. Along the descent, you paddle through rapids and calm waters. Midway, you see the village of Sablière. On the river, your helmet is mandatory as a large rapid awaits you. During this emotional moment, a photographer takes some pictures of you and you then paddle quietly down the river where you see the troglodyte villages of Saint Marcelin and Eglazine. You arrive at your own pace at the end of the route where your vehicle awaits you in the private car park of Aigue Vive.
