Do you have your Level 1 scuba diving certificate? Then come and visit the diving spots in and around L'Île-Rousse in the Balagne region with Epir Plongée!

L'Île-Rousse and the surrounding area as far as Calvi offer a large number of diving sites to help you familiarise yourself with the biodiversity of the Mediterranean Sea. Exploratory diving in L'Île-Rousse is ideal for divers, with some remarkable sites only a short distance from each other! There is something for everyone: drop-offs, rocky peaks, canyons, plateaux, coves, etc., the list goes on!

Depending on your diving level and the day's weather conditions, you can explore the Revelatta, B17 wreck, Sec du clocher, Punta Spano, Danger d'Algajola and other diving sites in L'Île-Rousse. Each of these sites has its own special features that are sure to charm you! Your divemaster will be delighted to show you the secrets of these sites, which he knows like the back of his hand.

Objectives

The goal is to allow you to discover the local fauna and flora for your first scuba dive. You’re guaranteed fantastic visibility!

Course of events

Approximately 4 hours outing

- Meeting at the Epir Plongée diving school where you will be provided with a wetsuit and full equipment
- Quick joint presentation of the information you need to know to enter the water and safety protocols
- A maximum 25 minutes boat ride to the diving site (most sites are within a 10 minutes radius, the furthest being 25 minutes away)
- Launch for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour of underwater exploration
- Return to the dive center and debrief with your divemaster over a drink

Activity requirements

A minimum PADI Open Water certificate or FFESSM level 1 of scuba diving is required to partake in the activity.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Special terms

Please note you are not allowed to fly for up to 24 hours after your last dive.
