Not far from Grenoble and the 7 Laux resort, Coeur de Belledonne helps you experience amazing sensations in the Belledonne massif in Isère.
Start or progress through this sporty course for all levels supervised by a state-certified instructor.
You will ride down the most beautiful single tracks of the Belledonne Valley, with a panoramic raid on the most beautiful crest of Grésivaudant, 3 nights in a cottage and refuge, new techniques to improve your level, and individual advice from a professional in a friendly atmosphere!
The programme does not require special technical skills other than knowing how to "stand" on a bike and be in good physical shape.
Thursday – Meet up at 12:30 in Pontcharra-sur-Breda train station
Transfer to the Martinette mountain center in the heart of Belledonne in the valley of Haut Breda.
Picnic lunch (incl. in the price). Presentation of the course, expectations, and objectives of the course. Training and downhill ride along the "energy" and "customs officers" trails. You take time to review the basics of maneuverability, and the crossing techniques to get ready for the raid.

Friday – 1st day of the mountain bike raid
You head for the alpine pastures for an exceptional ride. The 2,000-meter high Big Rock is placed in the middle of a crest of 25km perched between Belledonne and Chartreuse: an exceptional view of 10 alpine mountains including Mont Blanc and Vercors. On the technical side, you'll ride on single tracks, and slalom between blueberries and marmots. You arrive at the Crêt du Poulet refuge for the night with views of the mountains. To end this day, how about a short night ride?
15km: +500m; -300m
Saturday – 2nd stage on the ridge and visit of the mines
You discover the forest and marsh tracks that will lead you to the goat farm of Matthieu "La Vie Plaine". After visiting the mines, you take the path of the mine that brings you back to your cottage Fond de France via La Ferrière.
25km: + 200m; -900m
Sunday – Enduro day trip at Collet d'Allevard
You join the "collet" station, ideal for an intro to enduro and to improve the descent. Some technical runs in the morning with the ski lifts and the large "calade" - altitude difference of 1,500m - to Allevard.
35km: +200; -2500m/-3000m
Reviewing and complete cleaning of the mountain bikes, return of the equipment. Transfer to Pontcharra station at 15:50.Activity requirements
