Take advantage of the experience of Marc, local guide of Rando Terre d'Azur for committed outings: these races are ideal for adventure and sports enthusiasts. On the programme: significant gradients, off-trail routes, etc.
These new routes for demanding hikers in very good physical condition are specially designed by Marc who knows the Mercantour site like the back of his hand.
The Mercantour is a huge playground and discovery area, with multiple climatic and historical influences, and has a unique diversity of flora and fauna in France.
It is a massif reputed to be the wildest in the metropolis, between the sea and the mountains ... Enough to delight lovers of the great outdoors!
The itinerary of the route will be defined with your guide after booking according to the weather, your level and your desires.
Indeed, some summits may be inaccessible on foot because of snow, in which case another summit may be proposed as a replacement, for a difficulty and with similar characteristics (difference in height, distance...).
Thedifferent itineraries proposed:
-The Pélat summit
The panorama at the summit of the local giant is without doubt one of the most beautiful in the Southern Alps, seen from the lake.

-The Grand Cheval de Bois summit
Extraordinary summit which can be reached after a walk at the limit of climbing, all in verticality for a breathtaking view.
1400m of difference in height +, 8 hours of effective walk, very sporty path
-La Grande Séolane
The one called "La molaire" is a summit that can be seen from afar: it offers a 360° panorama between Haut Verdon and Ubaye.

-The Rochecline summit
Emblematic summit overlooking Allos! Meadows, megahorbieres, forests, roubines... These very diverse landscapes will punctuate this sporty walk.
