Activity description

Discover hydrospeed in the Morvan Regional Nature Park, on the Chalaux, with the AN Rafting team of professionals!

The Chalaux is a 5km long river that originates in the Morvan massif and flows through the departments of Nièvre and Yonne. In the greenery and rocky landscapes that surround it, you will be totally disoriented!

Your instructors have selected courses of varying levels and invigorating, which have some pleasant surprises in store for you, particularly with rapids with evocative names such as the Piscine à Billes, the 400 m, or the Perte des Veaux.

These descents are ideal for learning the techniques of hydrospeeding and snorkelling. This is a typical river descent activity! You will become one with the float, which will allow you to swim the rapids in complete safety! Hydrospeeding on the Chalaux will allow you to rush through the water while swimming a little to orient yourself... Have fun and enjoy yourself!

The centre's shuttles will take you to the departure pontoon and at the arrival, the shuttle will pick you up and you will have about 15 minutes to drive back to the centre.

The water of the Chalaux is pleasantly cool, between 10 and 12 degrees throughout the summer season and between the wetsuit and the heat out of the water, it's a pleasant bath that awaits you!

The Morvan base is particularly well equipped (changing rooms, showers, toilets, disabled access, private parking, paint ball field...) which allows you to enjoy the moment on site without worrying about anything else than your descent!

So don't hesitate to try hydrospeed on the Chalaux to discover the Morvan Regional Natural Park in a different way!
