Activity description
Paris BMX Club is a BMX school based in Paris which offers courses all year round, in the EGP 18 in the 18th district, all supervised by passionate and qualified instructors.
Your BMX teacher will teach you the basics of this urban sport with a theoretical part and a warm-up beforehand, but above all a technical part to know how to learn and succeed the first figures in the skatepark or on the ground.
Overcome your fears, learn to fall and get up again, know your limits and go beyond them... These exercises will also help you in life because it is on self-confidence that everything is played! Achieving things you thought impossible will help you progress in all areas.
Without forgetting that BMX is above all a fun sport, so the teacher will explain to you that you should not only lose sight of the objective but also have a good time and have fun with your bike.
On the programme:
- Learn the basics of BMX, ride up and down a ramp and work on your balance with flat tricks (on the ground).
- Discover new tricks according to your level: lift the wheels, do a half turn (180), roll on a wheel (manual), take your hands off, turn the handlebars (barspin), drop a ramp...
- Some DIY skills to learn how to repair a bike.
The courses take place at the EGP 18, with more than 3000 m2 of sliding space, it is the largest covered concrete skate-park in France. It has a permanent cover and two areas for beginners and experienced riders.
