Spend the day with Polo De Le Rue, former Junior World Champion of Boardercross (2004) perfecting your skiing and snowboarding techniques.
Enjoy the privilege of having an expert give you tips and pointers, allowing you to get an insider’s point of view of what you should and shouldn’t be doing.
Over the course of the day Polo will act as your guide, helping you discover the best freeriding spots in the Pyrenees Mountains.
Example of an itinerary:
9am: Tea/coffee in Aulon at Polo’s house after which you check you have your shovel, probe and avalanche transceiver. Polo will also give you the lift passes. It is always a good idea to leave a car at Aulon so you can make your way back in the evening (15 minutes from Saint Lary).
9.30am: You arrive at the bottom of the cable cars in Saint Lary village
9.40am to 12.30pm: You will explore the domain (groomed slopes and backcountry slopes depending on the weather conditions and avalanches risks).
12.30pm to 13.30pm: Lunch – you can choose whatever you like depending on the availability
1.30pm to 3pm: Skiing in the domain
3pm to 4.30pm: You will go back to Aulon
5pm: Snack at Polo’s house in the village
