Activity description

Thanks to l’Argonaute’s team of competent and motivated SSI instructors, you’ll be able to quickly start your underwater adventure.

Before starting, your instructor will make sure you’re comfortable being underwater. Many people think that scuba diving is reserved for sporty people, but that’s not true at all and that’s what your instructor will help you understand.

Scuba diving is first and foremost, a sport and with all sports, the more you practice the better you get at it. This activity is accessible to absolutely everyone over the age of 8. Once you’ve started you can practice all over the world, at the most exotic locations.

With l’Argonaute you’ll realise how peaceful being underwater really is, once you’re immersed in the water you’ll feel a sudden sense of tranquillity.

The activity takes place at the scuba diving school based at Toulouse, in a diving pool that is 15 metres deep. The pool enables you to practice safely and without any worries, as your instructor will be on-hand at all times.

Programme:
- At your arrival you will be introduced to your instructor who will show you around the centre
- You will then gear up in the necessary equipment
- Your instructor will brief you about the security regulations
- You will then start first mini exercise which will lead to more technical scuba diving exercises
- You’ll play a few underwater games getting you more comfortable with your surroundings
- Once the session is over you’ll clean the equipment and have access to a hot shower
- You’ll then be debriefed on your session and given your diploma

You'll be given photos of your adventure.

The activity lasts 2 hours, but you'll be underwater for 30 minutes.

All participants must bring a medical certificate from their doctor dated within the last 3 months stating that they are allowed to practice this activity.
