Halfway between hiking and canyoning, an aquatic hiking is done in the riverbed, in this case the Verdon. This activity lets you discover the secret landscapes hidden in the heart of the Verdon Gorges, without the need for ropes. You'll have a choice of 2 aquatic hike routes in the Verdon, ranging from beginner to more challenging, and lasting from 2h to 2h30. It's up to you to choose the water trekking route that suits you for this refreshing activity!

Safely supervised by an Azur Canoë Kayak Rafting guide, you'll swim down the Verdon rapids at the foot of a majestic site with 500-metre cliffs. The programme includes swimming, floating and jumping, as well as obstacles that can all be avoided. Aquatic hiking in the Verdon gorges is the perfect way to spend some quality time with family and friends!

The aquatic trekking was a very fun, exhilarating, and beautiful way to experience the gorges du verdon! You can't get as close if you're simply on foot. You spend most of the time in the water, which is really nice when Europe is experiencing a heat wave! We went down a few rapids and there were also opportunities to jump into the water from higher points, but only if you want.
