Activity description

Discover the underwater fauna and flora with Nemo'z Diving Center! The Polynesian waters, especially those of Moorea, are full of all kinds of fish and other marine animals that you will surely meet: turtles, barracudas, dolphins, clown fish, rays, etc...

But Moorea is also the island of lemon sharks! This dive is therefore ideal to (re)familiarise yourself with 3 meters long sharks in complete safety before going on to more challenging dives. You will be able to access it from Level 1 and, if you are an experienced diver, a passage on the site of the "Roses" at a depth of 50 meters is possible.

The activity takes place in the bay of Ōpūnohu, Moorea's reef: the dive sites are located in Ōpūnohu on the north coast of Moorea, and are decided according to the level of the divers. Both dives are done in the morning with a snack in between.

It is also possible to book an afternoon or sunset dive to enjoy a different atmosphere underwater.

Every morning at 8:00 am, Nemo'z Diving Center embarks you for 2 exploration dives on the outer slope of Moorea. Generally, the first dive is focused on lemon sharks and the second on turtles and other reef riches. The return trip is done around noon. About ten diving sites are proposed.

The half-day tour includes

If you would like to do an extra dive or just one dive during the day, the instructor offers an afternoon trip at 2:00 p.m. to explore the seabed of northwest Moorea.

Depending on the time of year, departure is proposed from 4pm. Reproduction of surgeonfish and parrotfish, behavioural changes of certain species and a special atmosphere due to the light. A cocktail will be waiting for you when you return from the dive! Return about 2 hours later.

We loved our dives with Nemoz the entire crew was phenomenal going above and beyond to even drive us to a local restaurant they recommended in between dives. We will definitely be back to dive with them again
