Activity Snapshot
Activity description
Get your first taste of diving in Tahiti with a 30 minutes first dive to a depth of 6 metres!
Life starts in the water: back to basics with your first dive experience! The clear and warm water of Tahiti offers you a perfect environment for you to jump on this amazing adventure.
Your first scuba dive will take place under the watchful eye of your certified instructor who will guide you every step of the way. It will last about 30 minutes and take place at a depth of 6 meters.
You will start to develop techniques whilst surrounded by the curious and colorful fish and vibrant coral reef. You will swim in weightlessness, in a middle of curious and colorful fishes, flying over wrecks and coral reefs safely.
The dive spot will be chosen according to the weather conditions. You may for example dive in the Aquarium site which is perfect for an introduction to scuba diving in shallow waters. Scattered with little coral boulders on a sandy bottom, you'll be able to find all the typical lagoon fish (damsel, parrot fish, clown fish, surgeon fish, spotfin croaker, cow fish...). In 1995, a Cessna 172 crashed near Tahiti Aiport due to an emergency landing. Considered as useless, it was moved to the Aquarium and is now lying on a 6 to 10 meters deep bottom.
Accessible to all, intro dive is the pre-requisite to enroll in the first diving certification level. But if you are not interested in taking a scuba diving training and you have already had your first dive, don't hesitate to opt for the Discovery of Scuba Diving in Tahiti experience!
