Discover your first underwater sensations during a first dive in Tahiti!
The Tahiti Iti Diving center is located in Taravao, on the Taiarapu peninsula. Located at the marina of Phaeton Bay, it allows access to different diving sites in less than 20 minutes by boat! This is ideal if you are on the Tahitian peninsula and want to do your first dive without taking more than half a day.
This initiation to diving will not only allow you to discover this incredible underwater activity, but also to observe the rich aquatic fauna and flora of Tahiti. You will have the pleasure to meet during your first dive all kinds of tropical fishes such as the surgeon fishes of the lagoon, or even small harmless reef sharks. At a maximum depth of 6 meters in the lagoon or on a flat rock reef (depending on the weather conditions), you will have plenty of time to enjoy your first dive!
Whether on board the boat or during your 20 minutes launch, you will always be accompanied by a certified diving instructor to guide you in your discovery of the basics of diving in Tahiti. All you have to do is enjoy this magical moment and keep unforgettable memories!
- Reception at the Tahiti Iti Diving center
- Preparation of the necessary equipment for diving (wetsuit, mask, fins, life jacket, etc.)
- Departure for the dive site where you will be briefed on the use of the equipment and safety instructions
- Launching, depending on the conditions, in the lagoon or on the flat rock reef, at a maximum depth of 6 meters with your instructor for about 20 minutes
- Re-board the boat and return to the dive center for a debriefing
All participants must be able to swim.
Minors must have authorisation from their parents.
All participants must bring a medical certificate from their doctor dated within the last 3 months stating that they are allowed to practice this activity.
