Activity description
Go in a scuba diving safari to explore the unique and unspoilt beauties of the north eastern part of Greece. You can either dive near the Alexandroupoli area, in the mainland's coast line, or you can go on boat safari to the wide area of Thrace. The dives
Usually the waters near Alexandroupoli are quite warm, and clear. You can find different types of diving from caves and walls, to colourful reefs and shipwrecks.
The spots
Alexandroupoli
Papades - A beautiful reef full of holes underwater, ideal for beginner and experienced divers. You can either reach the spot by boat either by car. Max. depth is at 18 meters.
Petrota - Another reef to explore with unique colours. There is a great variety of fish life to take a closer look. The maximum depth is at 18 meters and it is ideal for intermediate or advanced divers.
Lobster - A colourful reef in a rocky beach. You can only reach the spot by boat. The place is called "lobster" because there are thousands of lobster under water. Similar depth with the previous spots at 18 meters.
Spilia (Cave) - A cave in shallow water to explore. It is quite easy to enter the cave, and there are different spots to discover around. You do not need to be an advanced diver for this spot as it doesn't go below 18 meters.
Imeros - One of the best diving spots in the area awaits for you. Huge rocks and vertical cliffs will leave you breathless while diving in that spot. There are caves, reefs and walls to discover around. You can only reach the spot by boat.
