Welcome aboard!

You will meet at the designated meeting point at about 8:00 am (usually Alimos marina), for a boat tour with all the necessary instructions you need to know and then you will set sails to Aegina Island, famous for its pistachios.

On your way there, you’ll make a stop at the tiny uninhabited island of Moni. Once there, you will enjoy swimming & snorkeling in the turquoise crystal clear waters or go hiking through its pristine pine forest and come across beautiful deer and peacocks! You can also enjoy a coffee or ouzo (Greek aperitif) at the only tavern on the island, while the crew prepares a delicious meal for you!

Early in the afternoon, you will reach the port of Aegina, where you will be free to visit Aegina town, walk through its alleys with the charming shops or alongside the picturesque port, admire the beautiful neoclassical buildings and enjoy a cup of iced coffee.

The Temple of Apollo at the archaeological site of Kolona, which lies at a walking distance from the port, and the Archaeological Museum are not to be missed!

You can also choose to be taken on an exciting inland tour, so you can explore some of Aegina’s hidden gems! The temple of Aphaea is the most important monument in the sanctuary of Aphaea, dating back to 500 BC. Your next stop will be the impressive Monastery of Saint Nektarios, one of the biggest of the Balkans. If you put your ear to Saint Nektarios’s tomb, you can hear the sound of his feet tapping. Behind the monastery lies the island’s Mystras and also former capital, Paleachora. You will follow the hiking trails to explore this abandoned “ghost town” with its numerous Byzantine churches and enjoy the panoramic views over the Saronic Gulf.

You will then return back to your boat and sail back to Athens, arriving around 21:00.

Tip: do not forget to buy some fresh fruits and vegetables from the floating groceries (traditional boats in the port selling fruits & vegetables) or local pistachios!
