Activity description

Explore the underwater life of mythical Paros Island on this beginner PADI scuba diving experience in beautiful Greece! The ultimate way to expand your horizons and start your scuba diving journey!

This PADI Discover Scuba Diving course is designed specifically for beginners and is both easy and fun! The adventure begins after meeting your certified instructor at the diving center. Then, you will board a 14 meter (46 feet) traditional Greek boat with an experienced Captain at the helm. On board, you will start the day with an introduction to scuba diving theory and scuba diving equipment. Once the boat is anchored in a quiet area, all participants will put their gear on and head into shallow water and learn how to breathe underwater.

Confident in your newfound skills and in the company of your certified instructor, you'll navigate the underwater world with ease and observe octopuses, barracudas, and various types of fish. You will reach a maximum depth of 12 meters (39 feet). The waters are crystal-clear and offer amazing visibility. Taking a well-deserved break with fresh fruit and water, you'll also have time to swim and snorkel, as well as enjoy the magnificent scenery of Paros on the boat tour! If you've fallen in love with scuba diving, the skills you learn during this course may be credited toward the full PADI Open Water Diver certification!

I had a fantastic boat excursion with two dives. The staff was experienced and very friendly, and the dives were great. The equipment was well-maintained. It's definitely worth a visit!

We didn’t see much and we didn’t go really far from the boat. It was a bit frustrating to see everyone go for a second round while we waited on the boat. Maybe it would be better to separate the two groups (beginners and advanced divers). I think that way, the staff would also be less stressed.
