Jet ski excursions in Le Gosier, in Guadeloupe

Course of events

You will head for Grand Baie to the emerald waters of Le Gosier where the Fort Fleur d'Epée stands, a fortress completed in 1794. You will then continue towards the Port of Pointe-à-Pitre where commercial and tourist activity is flourishing. You will also discover the islet of Gosier, which takes its name from the great-gosier pelicans that used to hunt in its feeding lagoon. After that, you will return to the Arawak.

Course of events

You will take time to appreciate the south coast of Grande-Terre with a visit to the Rivière Salée which separates Grande-Terre from Basse-Terre. This 5 km long arm of the sea is surrounded by mangroves whose silence and voluptuousness will enchant you. You will pass by the îlet à Cochons and experience the thrill of the Catra water. Then, you will visit the islet of Gosier bordered by a magnificent beach.

Course of events

You will take the direction of the mangrove and the salty river to arrive in the extraordinary nature reserve of the Grand Cul-de-sac marin. The Caribbean Sea exposes its shades of blue and turquoise, contrasts accentuated by the sea bed. It is a body of water without waves that invites you to speed up! You will stop off in a natural pool to refresh yourself, then take the controls of your jet ski to discover a white sandbank off Sainte-Rose in Basse-Terre. A last swim and you will immortalize this moment in a photo!

Course of events

You will take the course of the salty river to go to the Grand Cul-de-sac marin nature reserve, or rather to the "Gran V Là". You will then be between the two big points of the north which are the Pointe de la Grande Vigie and the Pointe Allègre. You will head to Port-Louis and stop at the Macou islet where your instructor will tell you the history of the Macou Chapel and will make you discover the fauna and flora which are perfectly integrated into the mangrove landscape. Then, you will stop at Pointe Sable, a beach accessible only by sea. For a moment, you will become the guests of the îlet aux Oiseaux. You will listen to the natural silence, while passing through the mangrove, before taking the salty river back to the Arawak Hotel.
