Activity description

Fly over Iceland's main natural sites and land on a volcano and a glacier during a panoramic half-day helicopter flight!

On arrival at Reykjavik domestic airport, you'll meet your pilot who will accompany you on this helicopter flight over the country's main sites. Once the safety instructions have been given, you'll set off on your half-day adventure in the air aboard an AS350 B2 Ecureuil helicopter with seating for 5 passengers or an Airbus EC130 with 6 seats.

You'll admire the impressive Gullfoss and Háifoss waterfalls, the Þingvellir national park, the Golden Circle, the geothermal areas of Geysir and Landmannalaugar, Þórsmörk and the Eyjafjallajökull volcano during this flight.

You'll set foot on a volcano and feel the heat beneath you! Walk on the fresh snow and enjoy this special moment for 15 minutes.

Your itinerary continues towards the glacial highlands where you will make a 2nd stop. You'll be able to smell the fresh air and enjoy this unique moment...

Course of events

- Arrival at the aerodrome and meeting with the pilot

- Departure for the flight over Iceland's main sites
- Flight over Gullfoss and Háifoss, Þingvellir National Park, Golden Circle, Geysir and Landmannalaugar geothermal areas, Þórsmörk and the Eyjafjallajökull volcano

- 15-minute landing on a volcano and glacier
- Return to the aerodrome and end of the activity

Activity requirements

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Free for children under 1 year of age.

Weight limit of 120 kg per passenger. This will allow all participants to enjoy a comfortable and safe trip! Any passenger over 120 kg / 265 lbs / 19 stone must pay for 1.5 seats in the helicopter.

Special terms

All flight times to be determined by instructor due to weather forecasting.

Duration based on helicopter size and weather conditions -3 person minimum per flight.
