Activity description

Paragliding is the simplest and purest form of flying available to mankind.

A tandem paragliding flight is a legitimate introductory paragliding session affiliated with the Reykjavík Free Flying Club. As a passenger you need no prior knowledge, all you have to do is experience the world from a new and exciting perspective, your instructor will take care of the rest.

Once the paraglider has been inflated and safety checks have been carried out, you'll take a few steps down a slope until you are walking on air!

Each flight lasts up to 20 minutes.

All paragliding sites are located within a 20-45 minute radius of Reykjavík.

Airtime: Depending on the weather but typically 10 to 15 minutes.
Total time: Allow 2-3 hours including transport to and from central Reykjavík and preparations.

If you would like to be picked up from your accommodation please let the instructor know as soon as you've booked this activity. For this option, you'll have to pay an additional 3.000 ISK. The pick-up and drop-off will add an additional hour to your activity time.
