The Golden Circle is a flagship tour from Reykjavík, visiting 3 of the most impressive sites in south-west Iceland: Thingvellir National Park (Þingvellir), the Geysir geothermal field and Gullfoss waterfall. Located in Thingvellir National Park, the Silfra fault demarcates the boundary between the Eurasian and American tectonic plates in Lake Þingvallavatn: it is an exceptional site where the water is of unparalleled clarity, ideal for snorkelling near Reykjavík! Once you have finished your morning in Thingvellir National Park and Silfra, you will head off to the second spot in the Golden Circle, the Geysir geothermal field, where you can admire Strokkur, the country's most active geyser. Finally, the tour ends at Iceland's most popular waterfall, Gullfoss, before returning to Reykjavík in the evening.

- Pick-up in Reykjavík (may take up to 30 minutes)
- Journey to the car park reserved for diving and snorkelling providers in Silfra (approx. 50 minutes drive)
- Briefing on the activity and safety instructions
- Distribution of wetsuits and equipment
- Launch for the snorkelling excursion in the Silfra fault (40 minutes to 1 hour)
- De-equipping, return of equipment and journey to the Haukadalur valley (approx. 45 minutes) to observe the geysers at the Geysir geothermal field
- 10-minute drive to the famous Gullfoss waterfall
- Return to Reykjavík and end of the activity

Knowing how to swim is compulsory for this activity.
Minimum weight: 99 lbs (45 kg) / Maximum weight: 264 lbs (120 kg)
Minimum height: 150 cm / Maximum height: 200 cm

Once your booking has been confirmed, please contact the instructor to plan the pick-up time and place for your activity.
It is not possible to take part in the activity wearing glasses: if you have a prescription mask, please bring it with you. If not, we advise you to wear contact lenses before joining the guide.
It is important that you can both understand and communicate in English in order to participate in the tour.
