Learn how to scuba dive with certified and passionate instructors who are eager to help you navigate the underwater world of Calabria!
This course is the perfect introduction to scuba diving for folks who don’t have the time to complete the Open Water Diver program. You’ll get to learn valuable skills, dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters, and receive a Scuba Diver Certification after finishing! When you’re able to commit more time to hone your scuba diving skills in the future, you can even upgrade your certificate to the Open Water Diver Certification.
Under the supervision of a professional diver, you’ll get to explore the open water environment around Marina di Gioiosa Ionica, diving deep into the magic wonders below the Ionian Sea! Your course includes 8 lessons (3 theoretical lessons + 5 practice dives) and depending on your availability, you can choose from:
- 3 full-day sessions
- 5 half-day sessions
You can expect to learn how to use the scuba equipment, the underwater rules that need to be respected, how to communicate underwater with your scuba gear, and a lifelong skill that will enable you to explore the unique beauty that exists underneath the surface of the sea!
During this scuba diving course, you'll get to unlock a number of unique sensations such as the feeling of weightlessness and being able to fly in all directions in the water. You'll be sure to have an unforgettable adventure!
Note: According to the sea and weather conditions, it is possible that the underwater lessons will take place on the Thyrrenian coastline of Calabria.
