Activity description

Become a certified diver in the limpid waters of the Elba Island!

Rio Diving proposes the Open Water course for beginners, the Advanced Open Water course for experienced divers and the Rescue Diver course for advanced divers.

Structure of the courses: they last 3 to 5 days and they include 5 practical lessons in open waters and 5 theory lessons.

During each course you will not only learn diving techniques, but you will get the chance to explore beautiful diving sites in the Elba Island.

At the end of the course you will receive a certification that will enable you to dive everywhere in the world.

Rio Diving provides teaching material and diving equipment created by CRESSI.

Where will you dive?

Secca del Porticicolo. At 18 meters deep, you will find an sunk anchor from a cruise ship. The site is characterized by vertical walls and a gorgeous fauna.

Lo Scoglietto. This dive is accessible by divers of any level because it presents different steps that progressively require more expertise. Depending on your level you will be able to dive to a 40 meters depth. Throughout the full duration of the dive you will see extraordinary diversity of flora and fauna!

Secca di Capo vitae. In this site the sea currents eroded the seabed, shaping a scenery similar to a sunk city: long walls, tunnels, and clefts. You will be surprised by the huge quantity and variety of fish you will see here.
